State Electronics has the ability to manufacture discontinued or obsoleted Honeywell / Clarostat potentiometers. Items are discontinued for many reasons including low production volume, cost prohibitive engineering or tooling, or lost out of date specifications, to name a few.
State Electronics maintains a comprehensive inventory of Honeywell component parts that can be assembled into many of the items that have been discontinued and as a result. Honeywell refers hundreds of customers to State for many of the obsoleted products.
We are authorized by Honeywell to manufacture the 388 / 389 / 70 series Mod-Pots™ utilizing the original component parts, purchased directly from Honeywell to build these designs. In the rare event that a component part is no longer available we have the in-house ability and expertise to modify other component parts or source new ones thereby allowing us meet the customer's requirement. On rare occasions, when there is simply no way to build the obsoleted design, we often can suggest a different product that would be a form, fit and functional equivalent.

Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions (S&PS) has announced the upcoming obsolescence of all Industrial Potentiometers effective January 1, 2020. We remain committed to the Industrial Potentiometers line, and the assembly of other listings will continue without disruption. State Electronics has the specifications and ability to replicate many of the designs that will no longer be available from Honeywell and we are the only company that can make that statement and back it up!
Purchase orders for last time buy requirements will be accepted through December 15, 2019. All product must be delivered to the end customer by March 31, 2020.
